Job Description:Responsibilities:In order to lead major transformations (SAP S/4 migration, eCommerce…), the SAP Centre of Excellence of the IT department of ArcelorMittal Europe Long Products segment is looking for a Project Manager Officer.Having a strong knowledge of the major processes of an industrial company, his role will be to manage all aspects of Projects life cycles and to facilitate the successful deliveries of the executive team:In the approval phase:

Collect the business needs.
Clarify the project description, objectives and business case.
Identify project organization, role and responsibilities of the stakeholders.
Identify, analyze and recommend the IT solutions to support the business requirements.
Manage requests for proposals from external consulting companies, build the project budget, explain it to the business and manage it all along the project lifecycle.
Build the project roadmap, planning and major milestones.
Identity project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
Ensure the project approval with the management committee members. Manage kick-off meeting.

In the execution phase until go-live:

Establish detailed project plans, work plans, schedules, resource plans, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
Coordinate external consulting companies' involvements.
Implement the relevant metrics of the project and publish them.
Ensure regular project status, respect of deadlines and costs, provide recommendations.
Manage project meetings and steering committees.
Continuously evaluate project performance to ensure it is meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
Having a strong Business functional background and SAP experience, he is able to draft functional and technical specifications. He is the guarantor of the respect of the specifications.
Establish detailed test and training plans with the realization of the user documentation and manage the proper execution of the test plans.
Establish the cutover plan and monitor the proper execution.
Manage the go-live phase, hyper care and transfer to the support teams.

Skills:

Education: Master
Language proficiency: English Level advanced. Advanced French expected.
Proficiency level: senior.
Experience in global SAP environments.
Deep knowledge of some key SAP modules like SD, MM, FI is requested.
A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification may be advantageous.
A good experience in a supervisory position may be advantageous.
Strong leadership skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to details and technicalities.
Excellent organizational and technical skills.
Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.

We consider ourselves as a real business partner in Long Products Europe.Our productions sites have a local IT team who support the localized services, the tools close to production and also enable a suitable field service support.Some of these local IT teams are very small (2 or 3 people); others, depending on the size of the site, can be medium teams with up to 8-10 people.In Long Products Europe we are supporting French, German, Polish, Romanian, Bosnian, Spanish and Polish speaking end-users and supplying IS/IT services to the main steel units of our segment up to the remote sales offices in Italy, Germany, UK etc…At segment level we work very close with the European CIO, the Corporate team and the Global IT Purchasing to ensure we make the most use of the knowledge we have in the group, our standards and global contracts, with the main aim to keep Long Products Europe fully aligned with the rest of the group in terms of IS/IT and benefit as much as possible from the synergies available in such a group, like ArcelorMittal.
