- Establish an internationally recognized research group in an area of modern mathematics related to algebra
- Actively seek external funding, with a particular focus on opportunities from the European Community, including ERC grants and Marie Curie Fellowships.
- Contribute to the teaching mission of the department at various levels (Bachelor, Master, PhD)
- Advise PhD candidates and contribute to doctoral and postdoctoral training (e.g., organizing research seminars, reading groups, workshops)

- Contract Type: Fixed-term contract - 5 years (tenure track), with a perspective of a permanent position and promotion to Associate Professor upon a positive evaluation. In the case of a more senior candidate, the position will be offered at the Associate Professor level. At the Associate Professor level, the position is tenured and promotion to Full Professor is possible after 5 years upon positive evaluation
