- Lead quality activities in the respective production department.
- Identify and analyze process performance gaps in manufacturing quality, lead time and cost of tire curing molds.
- Define and implement new methods/projects/ideas to reduce/close performance gaps.
- Propose, develop and implement new technologies and capabilities.
- Provide support on existing technical installations to production departments.
- Improve on working conditions (environmental, ergonomics, safety).
- Implement and deploy Plant Optimization pillars in the respective production department.
- Mechanical or electro-mechanical design experience
- Programming of manufacturing equipment, macro programming
- Equipment industrialization
- Project management & Lean Manufacturing
- Plant Optimization
- Experience in 6Sigma, Lean is an asset
- Experience in root cause analysis and problem solving
- Experience with multi-level projects leading and project management best practices (Project charter, stakeholders management, communication management, deliveries, control phases) is an asset
- Experience in medium/large project implementation from start to end
- VBA/similar programing proven experience in projects
- CAD proven experience in projects delivery
- Experience in change management projects implementation (TPM, 5S…..) is an asset
- MS Office (World, Excel, Power Point)
- CAD/CAM (preferred software Catia V5 - additional CAD tools is an asset)
- Programming tools like VBA
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural team, as well as independently
- Excellent organizational skills and problem solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, curious and open minded
- Good understanding of customer requirements to translate them into technical solutions
- Sense of responsibility and urgency - Showing initiative, being proactive
- Willingness to travel occasionally
