Our customers include individual entrepreneurs, small businesses to large multi-national companies that buy in either high frequency or in bulk quantities. Our B2B customers have different needs than the traditional Amazon customer and thus we have to reinvent everything from how we display our selection, price our products, and provide the right customer experience.In this role you will manage a team of bright, talented and highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineers who develop innovative tools for transforming raw data into actionable insights for our Customer Advisors and Leadership team. Uncover the needs of our stakeholders for data analysis and access.Prioritize requirements and provide short-, mid- and long-term BI roadmap.Develop end-to-end self-service BI solutions to support decision making for the key stakeholders in the EU as well as WW.Collaborating with multiple teams across various functional areas and geographies WW to extract the business requirements and to propose strategic and tactical levers for developing the B2B marketplace.Analyze and solve business problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.Educate business stakeholders on utilizing BI tools and enable them to independently conduct data analysis.Research and implement novel approaches to enhance existing technical and business processes to improve customers and stakeholders experience.Develop talents in the team.Identify, spread best practices and elevate development standards.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Luxembourg, LUXBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with data scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, or equivalent) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab, or equivalent)
- Experience working as a Data Scientist
- Experience with statistical models e.g. multinomial logistic regressionPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience managing data pipelines
