
International Relations Officer - Scholarships

- Strategic Scholarship Management: Coordinate the full lifecycle of scholarship programs, from promotion to disbursement. Align scholarship offerings with Unilu’s internal procedures
- Donor-Funded Program Coordination: Support the preparation and submission of funding proposals to EU bodies and international donors. Ensure scholarship programs meet the criteria for continued and renewed funding
- Application & Selection Process: Design and manage transparent, digital application systems. Define eligibility and selection criteria in line with donor and institutional guidelines
- Governance, Compliance & Risk Management: Develop and enforce policies that ensure legal and ethical compliance. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies within scholarship operations
- Data Management & Reporting: Maintain a comprehensive database of scholarships, deadlines, and eligibility. Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and external funders
- Communication & Outreach: Develop communication strategies to inform and engage students. Promote scholarship opportunities through targeted outreach to maximize visibility and impact
- Donor & Institutional Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with donors and funding agencies. Organize meetings and events with scholarship recipients and institutional partners
- Student Support: Guide students through the scholarship process with professionalism and empathy. Conduct workshops and information sessions to increase accessibility and understanding
- Master’s degree in a field relevant to the position
- Several years of professional experience in international collaboration
- Experience in higher education internationalization strategies
- Knowledge of Erasmus+ or similar Scholarship programs
- Knowledge of the Luxembourg higher education and research sector is considered an asset
- Experience in internationalisation of Higher Education frameworks such as student mobility, student exchanges, joint academic initiatives is considered an asset
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) and a good understanding of French. Knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish are considered an asset
- Builds strong relationships and navigates effectively with diverse stakeholder groups
- Takes initiative in problem-solving discussions, offering solutions and working effectively within team to achieve common goals
- Articulate and Influential: Convey your skill in expressing ideas persuasively and making a positive impact
