Job Description:Manage and implement Luxembourg & Irish domiciled fund-related initiatives (UCITS, ETFs, AIFs) and partner with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.The Luxembourg Product Implementation team is the centre of expertise and knowledge for the mutual funds business of JPMorgan Asset Management in Luxembourg. As a Fund Product Implementation Manager, You will be responsible for the launch of new funds, share classes, mergers, closures, restructures, etc, and the coordination of all affected parties, globally. Your deliverables will be focused on activities supported by Transfer Agents, Fund Accountants, Fund Administrators, the Depositories, Auditors, code providers, data vendors, amongst others. You will fit within the Management Company 18/698 framework and interacts with many stakeholders globally (portfolio managers, client facing teams, operations, control functions, legal & compliance).Job Responsibilities
  • Lead various cross-functional workstreams for the efficient project & product management of initiatives that seek to deliver new products or enhance the existing product range.
  • Utilize best practices in terms of project management (score cards, project dash boards, issue log, executive reporting). The product implementation manager is responsible for a portfolio of projects.
  • Remove obstacles that prevent the delivery of product solutions; act immediately to address problems or potential problems and seize opportunities.
  • Employs partnership skills and leverages subject matter experts (internally and externally) to effectively deliver the fund project. Develop/maintain long-term relationships with Fund accountants, Custodians, Auditors, Transfer Agents etc. and internal business partners (Product Development, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, Tax, etc.)
  • Facilitate a governance process aiming at supporting all tasks required to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Define and document the service structure, prepare Service Level Agreements, operating memorandums, and relevant workflows for the business process.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • The candidate needs to be familiar with collective investment schemes, (Luxembourg UCITS, Alternatives, ETFs) and their associated end-to-end processes as well as having a broad knowledge of financial, tax and regulatory obligations.
  • Typically, the candidate needs to have around 5 years of experience in fund accounting and/or investment house and/or audit firm with a focus on funds (UCITS and AIFs) and/or audit background in the Luxembourg/Ireland fund industry.
  • Project Management Skills and ability to work independently/ be self-driven.
  • Inclusive leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across different groups and regions.
  • Strong team player. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Sense of Innovation, ability to deliver, attention to details.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience with ETF business & ecosystem is a “plus”.
  • Understanding of CSSF 18/698 obligations is another “plus”.
  • Positive attitude towards compliance and controls
