- Act as the primary point of contact for the Luxembourg DIH project, leading the work package to deliver light and full DMA (Digital Maturity Assessment) for manufacturing companies.
- Contribute to the "test before invest" activities, conducting assessments and evaluations related to Industry 4.0 technologies and solutions, with a specific focus on the Luxembourg manufacturing sector.
- Build strong relationships and establish credibility with key stakeholders in the manufacturing sector, including manufacturing companies and innovation agencies such as Luxinnovation
- Collaborate with industry partners and stakeholders to drive the digital transformation of the manufacturing sector, identifying opportunities for innovation, process optimization, and productivity improvement.
- Manage and contribute to the production of periodic and ad hoc reports, presentations, and publications, providing updates on project progress and delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the work packages related to skills assessment, identifying skill gaps and training needs within the Luxembourg manufacturing industry, and providing support for innovation initiatives.
- A PhD in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering is required. People with industry experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the context of digital transformation or innovation projects within the manufacturing sector
- Competences of Industry 4.0 technologies, trends, and best practices
- Familiarity with the Luxembourg research, manufacturing and innovation ecosystem would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of European context for the digital transformation through research and innovation
- Ability to analyze the maturity of manufacturing companies and suggest short- and long-term digital transition roadmap.
- Analytical mindset and ability to contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.
- Occasional travel within Luxembourg and Greater Region is foreseen in this position.
- Team-oriented and comfortable in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
- Excellent command of English. French would be an asset but not mandatory.
