The Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) is a Research and Technology Organization (RTO) active in the fields of materials, environment and IT. By transforming scientific knowledge into technologies, smart data and tools, LIST empowers citizens in their choices, public authorities in their decisions and businesses in their strategies.Do you want to know more about LIST? Check our website:The project will take place within the Advanced Instrumentation for Ion Nano-Analytics (AINA) group at LIST, a research team specialized in mass spectrometry. AINA combines expertise in instrument development, nano-analytical techniques, and methodological innovation for both materials' science and life science applications. AINA's activities span from fundamental research to the design of cutting-edge instrumentation and advanced analytical workflows. How will you contribute? You will contribute to a project developed within the framework of a long-standing collaboration with Pierre Fabre, who are a global leader in pharmaceuticals and dermo-cosmetics. The work will focus on research and development in Atmospheric Pressure Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization (AP-MALDI) mass spectrometry and molecular imaging, using high-resolution Orbitrap MS instrumentation. The aim of the project is to gain deeper insights into the molecular mechanisms, in order to evaluate the efficacy of newly developed skincare products.She/he will more particularly carry out research and development multimodal molecular imaging technologies (MALDI HR MSI, IHC, FISH), complementary chromatographic techniques and data interpretation. He/she will also benefit from the latest instrumental developments such as AP/MALDI-2.Is Your profile described below? Are you our future colleague?
