Pinsent Masons was also named Law Firm of the Year 2018 by The Lawyer and is ranked No 1 on the UK Stonewall Workplace Equality Index 2019.Candidate SummaryThe successful candidate will ideally be a 5-6+ PQE lawyer having trained in either a top tier Luxembourg firm or international firm and the individual will have an ambition to support the growth and development of our Luxembourg employment team, as part of a global offering.The role will involve providing day-to-day legal advice to HR professional clients and their in-house legal teams. It will also involve litigation and work investigations (for example, supporting our white collar crime team with the HR aspects of regulatory investigations). In addition to the contentious practice there will also be an opportunity to help our clients deliver solutions within the M&A and outsourcing space. The successful candidate will also work closely with corporate colleagues on transactional matters and will be involved in all aspects of the team's workload.The Global Employment & Reward Group are increasingly engaging with clients on strategic projects such as global change management exercises, reward philosophy projects and preparing for the implementation of gender pay gap legislation.Candidates will have a strong academic background and an outgoing personality. Candidates must be technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development. They will also be a team player with excellent communication skills and a desire to be actively involved in business development.
  • You have minimum a Master 2 in Law,
  • You have at least 5-6 years of experience in investment funds in Luxembourg,
  • You are qualified in Luxembourg bar,
  • You are solution-oriented, conscientious and you provide a high-standard work,
  • You have excellent communication, teamwork skills,
  • You have a perfect knowledge of both oral and written English and French. German language is an additional plus and would be considered a real asset,
  • An outgoing personality, pro-activity and efficiency are qualities we value highly.
The Opportunity
  • You will be in charge of advising clients on a variety of legal issues,
  • You will manage and supervise Junior Associate and Associate.
  • You will represent the Firm towards its clients and the Fund Industry associations,
  • You will participate in the Fund Practice group and the knowledge sharing through the Firm,
  • You will be actively involved in the Firm’s business development in Luxembourg and abroad,
