- draft and negotiate investment management agreements on behalf of Luxembourg management companies (with third party portfolio managers) and with German institutional clients
- give clear and concise legal advice to our business on fund related questions with a focus on Germany (Real Estate Funds/UCITS)
- draft a variety of legal documents and contracts in English and German (e.g. management company agreements, prospectuses, notices, board resolutions etc)
- file submissions to regulators and act as point of contact responding to regulator requests
- collaborate with senior colleagues within Legal and our businesses / negotiate with third parties
- research, and advise on all manner of legal and regulatory questions
- analyze the impact that new regulations may have on funds and clients
- stay up to date with fund regulatory developments in Germany, Luxembourg and across Europe
- give clear and concise legal counsel to our business functions
- think strategically, making decisions that have real impact for our business, customers and employees
- carry out and co-ordinate administrative tasks
- a university degree in Law
- in-depth knowledge of Luxembourg / German / European fund regulation
- at least 5-6 years' experience in the finance sector
- proven skills in drafting and negotiating legal documents in both English and German
- an excellent written and verbal communicator in English and German
- known for hitting deadlines with good judgment and common sense
- focused on detail and organized

- comfortable working in a dynamic environment and balancing multiple tasks
