- Review clients applications and make decisions on customer take-on
- Assessment of the escalated PEP / Sanction/Adverse media alerts reviewed by first line and further escalation to the Chief Compliance Officer (if needed)
- Being the point of contact for escalations from the 1 Line of defense in general
- Carry out enhanced due diligence related to suspicious customer activity or reports of misconduct and perform suspicious report to Luxembourg FIU if applicable (SAR/STR )
- Support the Regulatory compliance team on implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures, and guidelines specific to local CSSF AML/CTF regulations and industry best practices.
- Actively participate in review and execution of PPRO's AML/CTF compliance program
- Provide comprehensive reports for the Chief Compliance Officer and senior management on the state of the program and areas of improvement
- Assist in providing information for compliance AML/CTF internal and external audits, risk assessments, and ad hoc internal controls.
- Assist in completion of regulatory AML/CTF reporting to regulatory body (CSSF)
- Stay informed about evolving regulatory changes, laws, and guidelines on AML/CTF specific to Luxembourg and EEA markets
- Contribute to fostering a culture of compliance within the organisation
- At least 4 years of experience as a Compliance Officer within the financial services or payments industry in Luxembourg
- Familiarity with CSSF regulations and requirements
- Strong understanding of AML/CFT principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
- Professional certifications in compliance (e.g., CAMS) are a plus
