Who we are looking forThe role of the Senior Associate is to ensure the compliance with accounting operating policies, procedures and guidelines and the timely production of accurate Net Asset Valuations (NAV). In addition the Senior Associate will participate to the team development, and will ensure to maintain the client satisfaction at a high level.Join us if making your mark in the financial services industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.What you will be responsible forAs AIS Fund Accounting Senior Associate you willPerform and/or monitor quality and internal controls for all team deliverablesPlan and manage the daily processes and the effective utilization of resources with the support of the Officer and Assistant Vice PresidentPerform full review of the work conducted by our delegated teams or perform the task directlyFully in charge of the overall funds processes for your group of entities (from capital calls review / preparation via review of bookkeeping / NAV pack/ Investor reporting / audit support)Identify issues and problems in service delivery and carry out necessary corrective action, ensure that Key Performance Indicators are produced and dispatched as requiredReview corporate documentation on processes, procedures and controls and evaluate the continuing effectiveness of these and related systems, initiating remedial action as necessary.Monitor errors, complaints and potential breaches. Record as appropriate in the Errors logEnsure contingency plans exist for the work of the team and where necessary contribute to the business continuity plans and testsParticipate in the development, testing and implementation of new systems and productsEstablish and maintain good working relationships with clients, third parties and colleagues, communicating effectively through formalized reporting and ad hoc liaison.Assume responsibility for the implementation of client specific Fund Accounting projects (new business development review, planning & roll out) with the assistance of the Officer and AVP.Ensure Director, Assistant Vice President & CRM are adequately updated on a regular basis regarding all aspects of your client/s account, highlighting all potential risks with possible solutions in a timely manner.What we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleStrong analytical and problem resolution skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated and goal-orientedAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesAmbition to succeed and forge a long term career in one of the largest Funds Servicing companies in the world.Education & Preferred Qualifications3+ years working in the provision of PERE fund administration services or have worked in another aspect of the Financial Services Industry for a number of years.Highly computer literateProficient oral and written level in English.Investran / eFront / Geneva knowledge is an asset.Finance, Accounting, Business Degree would be an assetProficient oral and written level in English.About State StreetWhat we do.
