
Spectrum & Regulatory Engineer

- Prepare and manage ITU filings (API, CR/C, Notification) and responses to BR inquiries.
- Perform technical analyses to support frequency coordination (e.g. interference analysis, link budget validation, coverage assessment).
- Use tools such as SRS, GIMS, SpaceCap, SpaceCom, and BR IFIC databases to simulate and analyze satellite network parameters.
- Lead frequency coordination efforts with administrations and other satellite operators.
- Evaluate orbital slot availability and assist with network planning and satellite payload design from a regulatory/spectral standpoint.
- Monitor developments in ITU-R Study Groups, regulatory trends, and spectrum policy changes.
- Participate in regulatory and coordination meetings (e.g. CEPT, national administrations).
- Collaborate closely with system engineering, legal, and commercial teams to align regulatory strategy with technical design and business needs.
- Degree in Telecommunications, RF Engineering, or related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in satellite spectrum engineering and ITU filings.
- Deep understanding of ITU Radio Regulations, frequency coordination processes, and LEO/MEO/GEO satellite systems.
- Experience with ITU software tools (SRS, SpaceCap, GIMS, etc.) and good knowledge of orbit/spectrum resource management.
- Strong analytical and simulation skills in radio frequency and interference environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience interacting with regulatory bodies (e.g. ITU, ECC, national administrations) is a strong asset.
