Job DescriptionThe Procurement Department is responsible for sourcing of goods and services required by NBL and its subsidiaries. It ensures proper management of conflict check between departments and third parties, managing operational risk. The main objective of the department is to develop and manage procurement policies, define and manage procurement operations ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and centralize and optimize purchasing activities across the organization.In order to support our team, we are looking for a Procurement Officer on a permanent contract.Your main tasks will be to:
  • Manage end-to-end purchase process, from needs identification to order placement and delivery follow up for goods and services
  • Conduct vendor evaluation, risk assessment and on boarding in line with internal compliance, due diligence and regulatory requirements (including DORA regulation).
  • Negotiate, review, and formalize contracts ensuring compliance with legal financial and operational standards
  • Review and negotiate commercial terms and conditions, service-level agreements, and risk mitigation measures.
  • Monitor vendor performance and maintain up-to-date supplier records, documentation, and ensure continuous risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with budget, compliance and strategic goals
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, DORA regulation, outsourcing and regulatory frameworks.
Job requirements:
  • Studies in Business, SCM, or Economics
  • Relevant experience in procurement or highly regulated sectors (preferably financial services)
  • Good experience in procurement tools (SAP/MM, Ariba, Oracle JD Edwards etc)
  • Very good command in MS Office tools (Advanced Excel and VBA)
  • Proactive, teamwork, good communication and especially negotiation skills
  • Quality-driven, detail-oriented, good organisation skills
  • Very good level of English (written and spoken).
