As part of our industrial modernization and performance optimization program, we are looking for a motivated engineering intern to analyze our foundry production flows and propose both technical and organizational improvement opportunities.Main missions:Under the supervision of the Foundry Department Manager and in close collaboration with operational teams, your main responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing the foundry's production flows (materials, work-in-progress, equipment, and information).
- Identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement in terms of organization, workstation layout, and critical equipment reliability.
- Proposing actionable improvement recommendations using operational excellence tools (Lean, WPO, DEC, etc.).
- Engaging stakeholders (operators, supervisors, support functions) to ensure strong buy-in for proposed changes.
- Assessing information flows related to process parameters, product quality monitoring, and production progress tracking.
- Recommending digitalization opportunities to enhance and streamline monitoring systems (dashboards, KPIs, traceability, real-time reporting, etc.).
- Engineering student in 4th or 5th year, specializing in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, production systems, or equivalent.
- Fluent in French and English. German is considered as an asset;
- Strong analytical mindset, rigor, and synthesis skills.
- Hands-on approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and active listening.
