Its solutions are largely based on unit-linked insurance policies, serving the needs of affluent, high net worth (HNW), and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) individuals.On a proforma basis at HY 2024 following the acquisition of Lombard International Assurance Holdings Sarl, Utmost International would have managed £103bn of assets under administration on behalf of approximately 210,000 policyholders.Your role - Are you ready for a challenge?We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contracts and Relations Officer to support our partner oversight activities. This role is responsible for the onboarding and ongoing oversight of distribution partners, investment managers, and custodian banks. You will ensure all partners meet our internal standards and regulatory obligations under the Luxembourg Commissariat aux Assurances (CAA) and other EU regulations.Your responsibilities will be as follows:1. Onboarding of New Partners
  • Lead and coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process of new third-party partners (distribution, investment managers, custodians),
  • Ensure all documentation is collected and validated according to CAA and internal compliance standards,
  • Conduct risk-based initial due diligence assessments in collaboration with Legal, Investment and Compliance teams,
  • Prepare and present onboarding cases for internal approval and governance forums.
2. Ongoing Due Diligence & Oversight
  • Perform periodic due diligence reviews and maintain up-to-date risk assessments of all external partners. Ensure close follow up with partners on a regular basis,
  • Monitor partner performance and compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory expectations,
  • Escalate potential issues and contribute to mitigation plans,
  • Ensure adherence to Luxembourg regulatory requirements (CAA, IDD, AML/KYC etc) throughout the relationship lifecycle.
3. Contractual & Operational Oversight
  • Maintain and manage a central repository of partner agreements,
  • Support Legal and Compliance teams in drafting, updating, and reviewing partner agreements,
  • Support our partners in clients in regards to any queries arising.
4. Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based reports to track and report on partner response rates and review results,
  • Prepare regular internal reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and regulatory audits,
  • Ensure data integrity with the contractual data base, due diligence application as well as policy administration system and support regulatory reporting requests from the CAA and other authorities.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Serve as a key liaison between internal teams (Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Investments) and external partners,
  • Participate in internal governance forums and regulatory audits,
  • Maintain strong communication lines with key stakeholders across jurisdictions.
Your profile - Have you got what it takes to become our Contracts & Relations Officer?
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field,
  • 2-3 years of experience in partner oversight, investment operations, or compliance within the Luxembourg life insurance or financial services sector,
  • Strong understanding of Luxembourg regulatory requirements, including those issued by the CAA, CSSF, and EU regulatory bodies (e.g., Solvency II, AML/CFT, IDD),
  • Experience working with or overseeing investment managers and custodian banks is highly preferred,
  • Demonstrated experience with contract management and third-party risk assessment.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is mandatory. Knowledge of German and Italian is considered an advantage,
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint is a must. Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, data validation and reporting automation,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex information clearly,
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines,
  • Familiarity with due diligence platforms is a plus.
