Job Description:The IT Infrastructure Network Engineer will be in charge of:
  • Support all Arcelormittal Long Products Network based on Cisco devices
  • Transform the LAN/WLAN/Routing to fit in the new Business needs
  • Maintain and improve security devices based on Cisco ASA/Firepower and Cisco ISE
  • Deploy and maintain OT security device based on Fortinet
  • Manage VPN connections site to site and IPsec VPN with Cisco ASA and F5 Big IP APM
  • To maintain IP telephony and IP conferencing systems
  • Use the latest network available technology
  • Propose new Design which answer to new Business challenge
  • Provide solution for Service request following the design approved
  • Fix Network security incidents
  • Manage Network deployment projects (cabling, ordering, installation,…)
  • Manage 3rd party contractor into Industrial areas
  • Provide support to Wintel and End User computing teams in order to fix incident
  • Follow ITIL process (incident, problem, change, CMDB…)
  • Provide a 24/7 support (On call duty)
  • Perform network monitoring to early detect problems and deploy preventive maintenance actions
  • Securing network systems by enforcing policies and monitoring access to them
Specific Knowledge
  • Masters in Information Technology
  • Ability to work in Industrial Environment
  • Strong knowledge in Network technology: LAN/Routing on Cisco (certification is an advantage) and HP devices
  • Strong knowledge in WLAN technology: Cisco Wireless Controller, Wireless Bridge
  • Good knowledge about Firewall/IPS management (Cisco ASA and Firepower)
  • Basic experience in supporting identity server (Cisco ISE)
  • Good knowledge of F5 products especially the F5 Big IP APM
  • Some experience with Microsoft Express Route
  • Good knowledge in O365 challenge (Skype/Teams especially) and cloud proxy technology
  • Good knowledge of Cloud Design and Architecture (Azure, AWS, OCI,..)
  • Routing protocol: static, OSPF and basic knowledge of WAN routing
  • Effective communication skill with non-IT users
  • Able to manage transformation project
  • autonomous mind and open-mind
  • Able to manage high pressure for critical incident
  • Good knowledge about VASCO radius server integration
Languages:
  • French and English (advanced),
  • Luxembourgish and German would be an advantage,
  • Any other language will be considered as a plus.

We consider ourselves as a real business partner in Long Products Europe.Our productions sites have a local IT team who support the localized services, the tools close to production and also enable a suitable field service support.Some of these local IT teams are very small (2 or 3 people); others, depending on the size of the site, can be medium teams with up to 8-10 people.In Long Products Europe we are supporting French, German, Polish, Romanian, Bosnian, Spanish and Polish speaking end-users and supplying IS/IT services to the main steel units of our segment up to the remote sales offices in Italy, Germany, UK etc…At segment level we work very close with the European CIO, the Corporate team and the Global IT Purchasing to ensure we make the most use of the knowledge we have in the group, our standards and global contracts, with the main aim to keep Long Products Europe fully aligned with the rest of the group in terms of IS/IT and benefit as much as possible from the synergies available in such a group, like ArcelorMittal.
