- Handles relevant rather trivial purchasing processes (within defined category/program/etc.) in a moderate/regional environment
- Supports the development, coordination and implementation of the purchasing strategy within a less complex, moderate/regional category/program
- Supports the coordination and execution of sourcing processes for category/program (supplier selection, RFQ, negotiation, source decision matrix, sourcing committee)
- Conducts or assists contract negotiations with suppliers with small business volume
- Supports quality and competitiveness reviews of suppliers and develops corrective actions if needed
- Master's degree in business management, Business Administration or Purchasing focus required
- 3-5 years of experience in a progressive purchasing career
- Have technical background or technical understanding
- Advanced knowledge of purchasing and global market
- Strong communication, networking and negotiation skills
- Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite
- Business fluent English is mandatory, German and / or French language skills are a plus
