  • Handles relevant rather trivial purchasing processes (within defined category/program/etc.) in a moderate/regional environment
  • Supports the development, coordination and implementation of the purchasing strategy within a less complex, moderate/regional category/program
  • Supports the coordination and execution of sourcing processes for category/program (supplier selection, RFQ, negotiation, source decision matrix, sourcing committee)
  • Conducts or assists contract negotiations with suppliers with small business volume
  • Supports quality and competitiveness reviews of suppliers and develops corrective actions if needed
Here's what you can bring to the team:
  • Master's degree in business management, Business Administration or Purchasing focus required
  • 3-5 years of experience in a progressive purchasing career
  • Have technical background or technical understanding
  • Advanced knowledge of purchasing and global market
  • Strong communication, networking and negotiation skills
  • Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Business fluent English is mandatory, German and / or French language skills are a plus
