, a market leader in the live streaming industry , a platform that helps people make authentic connections , the pioneer and largest global online esoteric space , a leading service provider in the digital advertising sectorJob DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and ambitious Accounting & Consolidation Intern, to work closely with the Accounting and Consolidation teams and support them in their core functions.Tasks & responsibilities
  • Perform month-end close booking activities (both standalone and consolidation close)
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Prepare Financial Statements and related analytical reviews
  • Coordinate and address audit queries
  • Communicate and coordinate with various internal stakeholders (FinOps, legal)
  • Providing quality support for internal and external financial reporting
  • Collaboration with local accounting teams (Luxembourg, Hungary, etc.)
  • Contribute to various internal accounting automation projects
  • Actively participating in cross functional project launches from scoping through testing and launch
  • Actively propose ideas for improving existing processes and support development of new ones.
  • Execute other tasks assigned by the Accounting or the Consolidation manager.
Qualifications
  • You have a strong academic background and ideally hold a first university degree (BSc.) in finance / economics / related quantitative studies from a leading business school. (Accounting and Consolidation courses are a plus)
  • You are a results-driven team player and you are committed to excellence in your work and maintain high professional and ethical standards.
  • You have strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of an accounting software is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a finance department a plus.
  • Self-starter and team player with a proactive attitude.
