The mission of the Data Governance Operations team is to establish and maintain effective data governance processes and practices in order to ensure that our data at PwC Luxembourg is managed as a valuable corporate asset.As a Data Governance Officer you will play a crucial role to ensure that our data is “Trusted - Ready to Use - Protected”. You will be able to learn and offer a wide range of dedicated operational support in this field.Be a part of our team where you will:Support the Data Governance Operations team in conducting operational activities related to Data Governance, more specifically:
  • Support data governance operational activities such as data authorisation reviews, data categorization, data stewardship and data protection related initiatives.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies and procedures.
  • Support Data Project Managers in the implementation of data governance related projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data governance standards.
  • Oversee, govern and report on the performance related to the adoption of data governance practices by the firm.
  • Assist in training and support to employees on data governance best practices.
  • Assist with the preparation/participate in data governance meetings
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data governance.
Let’s talk about you. If you are/have:
  • You hold a Master degree level IT, Data Management, Business Management or Sciences.
  • You have 2 years of experience, ideally in domain such as Data Management.
  • You combine knowledge in 1 or more areas among: Data Management practices (DMBOK), Project Management methodology or Business Analysis practices.
  • You are acting with integrity & confidentiality, sharing and collaborating effectively with others.
  • You are flexible, organized, details-oriented, responsible, curious and able to understand the firm's purpose.
  • You are producing high-quality work which adheres to the relevant professional standards and obtaining validation of data and analysis for accuracy and relevance.
  • You are fluent in French and English, any other language can be an asset
