Your area of work:As a intern - Data Science (f/m/d) you will support the team in the Data Management department in the development of innovative data products and analytical solutions.Your responsibilities:Assist with data analytics and business intelligence (BI) tools to build new data products and analytical solutions according to business requirements.Support with various data sources, including big data tools (e.g. Azure Databricks) and cloud technologies, to create datasets from multiple data sources.Assist in working with different stakeholders under the guidance of an experienced supervisor.Contribute in discussions with the team and present your solutions and findings.Help in developing a deep understanding of a data product and significantly contributing to its development.Assist in projects on data mining and machine learning to identify patterns and create forecasts to predict future behavioursYour profile:You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 2 semesters. Study focus in the field of Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, Management or any other relevant quantitative field.Ideally, you have already gained practical experience in conducting quantitative analysis (e.g. experience abroad, internships) and are interested in financial data.You have experience with and knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, PowerBI.You can understand technical information quickly, derive insights and devise solutions. You have an independent and responsible way of working with attention to detail and agile communication and possess a passion to learn.You have knowledge of Python (pandas, scikit-learn) or other programming languages.You are proficient in written and spoken English.Location: LuxembourgDuration: 6-12 months
