
International Relations Officer – Cooperation Projects and UniGR

- Act as the main liaison between UNILU, the international relations counterparts at partner universities, national authorities as well as UniGR partner universities / central office
- Ensure effective project implementation by drafting, negotiating and harmonizing tailored agreements between UNILU and partner institutions to ensure consistency with established objectives and timelines
- Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders to gather relevant data, coordinate project administration activities and ensure timely updates and shared documentation
- Organize meetings, such as steering committee and project meetings, by managing calendars, booking venues, preparing agendas and sending reminders
- Track and report on project performance
- Prepare regular reports to inform decision-making and external stakeholders, highlight trends, suggest improvements and identify opportunities for strengthening or expanding collaborations
- Assist with the onboarding of students and provide guidance to both regular and mobility students, including support with application processes and ensuring alignment with agreements
- Administer scholarship and grant agreements, including drafting contracts, processing payments or reimbursements, and ensuring timely follow-up on financial matters
- Ensure all procedures comply with institutional and funding body regulations and monitor the academic performance of scholarship holders
- Manage administrative documentation through platforms such as the student management system and MoveOn, including the preparation and signing of arrival/departure certificates and other required forms
- Organize and set up events related to UniGR in close collaboration with IRO staff members
- Promote and facilitate cooperation projects and cross-border cooperation in education and research, and facilitate networking activities
- Promote cooperation projects as well as networking and mobility opportunities for students and staff through events, presentations and campaigns (internal and external communication)
- Master’s degree in a field relevant to the position
- Several years of professional experience in international collaboration
- Knowledge of the Luxembourg higher education and research sector is considered an asset
- Experience in internationalization of Higher Education frameworks such as student mobility, student exchanges, and joint academic initiatives is considered an asset
- Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is required. A minimum understanding of German would be an asset
- Build strong relationships and navigate effectively with diverse stakeholder groups
- Takes initiative in problem-solving discussions, offering constructive ideas and working effectively within a team to achieve common goals
