__WORKING AT YURI IS LIKE:YOUR MISSIONAs a project manager, you take on responsibility for space agency contracted development projects for microgravity research facilities with the main focus on life science applications.YOUR TASKS
  • Accountable project lead for all development Phases OTOCOQ (Phase A/B, Phase C/D)
  • Contribution and support of system engineering aspects during all development phases
  • Representation of projects in front of customers and customer reviews as PDR, CDR, FAR etc. (above all agencies like LSA, ESA, NASA etc.)
  • Accountable for internal and external project reporting and reviews
  • Guiding and educating an engineering team
  • Implement state-of-the-art technologies and continuously search for new innovative solutions
support in System Engineering:
  • Specification, design and analysis of mechanic, electrical/electronics & software systems including system architecture and interfaces for manned and unmanned spaceflight (above all, development Phase A/B, Phase C/D)
  • Requirements verification including support specification of test GSEs
  • Set up of the technical framework (documentation, processes, etc.) related to the commercial exploitation of ScienceTaxi program and services
  • Knowledge of Software and its implementation
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Dipl.-Ing., Master or similar in a technical discipline
  • Strong technical knowledge with expertise in corporate management, procurement & logistics, and skills management
  • Strong thermal background of advantage
  • Ability to identify synergies and potential cost-saving opportunities
  • Affinity for statistics and data analysis is advantageous
  • Solid professional experience in successfully executing projects valued at over €1 million with project durations exceeding 2 years
  • Previous experience in executing projects contracted by space agencies, particularly LSA, ESA, and NASA (including Fixed-Firm Price and cost reimbursement contracts), is advantageous
  • Familiarity with qualification/verification, as well as PA & Safety of human space flight, based on relevant ECSS, SSP, and INCOSE standards, is beneficial
  • Knowledge or experience in projects related to life science systems is beneficial, above all bioprinting
  • Experienced with MS Office - CAE / CAD / FEM and software tools (ANYSY, Catia, SolidWorks, MATLAB, Python) is advantageous
  • Fluent proficiency in both English and German languages
