- Own and grow senior-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite and executive stakeholders.
- Shape and lead long-term client growth strategies, ensuring alignment with both client objectives and VML's vision.
- Drive multi-market growth by identifying and unlocking new opportunities across regions and service lines.
- Partner with the WPP network to create market-leading, contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients.
- Ensure strategic reporting and insight delivery, maintaining full ownership of the client reporting process and its quality.
- Lead high-impact presentations and strategic discussions with senior client stakeholders, influencing decision-making and securing new investment.
- Oversee and guide RFP responses, ensuring they reflect strategic insight and competitive advantage.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to internal stakeholders.
- Champion the adoption of new capabilities and services within client organizations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate creative, commercial, and marketplace expertise into client strategies.
- Represent VML at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build visibility and relationships.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive insights to inform client strategies.
- Master's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Digital Commerce, or a closely related field. An advanced degree in Management, Strategy, or Digital Transformation is considered a strong asset.
- Proven track record in achieving year-on-year growth through senior-level client engagement and strategic leadership.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and execution skills with a client-centric approach.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and initiatives.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a knack for crafting compelling growth narratives.
- Familiarity with the e-commerce ecosystem, including content and advertising expertise, is a plus.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and navigating complex, matrixed organizations.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; French and/or German are a plus.
