We are currently looking for the right person to join our Manufacturing Department as a:Manufacturing Process Engineer - German Speaker (m/f)Located in Echternach / LuxembourgYour responsibilities would include:

Planning and implementing machine and process improvements (e.g. continuously working on scrap reduction topics)
Ensuring a smooth integration of new technologies and machines into mass production
Executing hardware/software changes and recommend changes to the controls of the production lines as needed
Taking responsibility for the productivity, the scrap rate and the line organization of defined product groups
Initiating and managing Six Sigma projects or lean projects to improve the shop floor KPI’s
Planning and performing line visits on the shop floor for customers and internal departments

You would need to meet the following requirements:

A university degree in electrical engineering
Excellent knowledge of production related KPI’s such as quality, HSE and productivity
Good knowledge of Six Sigma methods and Lean methodology
Experience in project management
Excellent MS Office skills, knowledge of SAP and database systems is an advantage
Good knowledge of and experience with different PLC systems would be an advantage
Ability to work independently, excellent analytical skills and a proactive attitude
Fluency in German and English is required
