- Sales Leadership & Revenue Generation
- Develop and execute a Luxembourg sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue targets across institutional and intermediary channels;
- Take full ownership of the Luxembourg sales P&L with a laser focus on activity level, allowing to exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets;
- Build and execute a focused go-to-market strategy targeting high-growth asset managers and institutional investors;
- Drive large, complex deals to closure while maintaining velocity across multiple smaller transactions.
- Pipeline Development
- Build, manage, and convert a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry engagement;
- Leverage your personal network and existing relationships to gain early access to RFPs and key decision-makers.
- Collaboration
- Act as the Luxembourg point of contact for cross-regional opportunities, ensuring seamless execution of inbound opportunities and alignment with Luxembourg client requirements and regulatory environment;
- Work closely with global and regional product, marketing, legal, and operations teams to deliver compelling value propositions and client solutions;
- Collaborate with the lead generation teams to optimize inbound/outbound conversion rates and shorten sales cycles.
- Market Insights
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity in Luxembourg and the broader European market to inform strategy;
- Influence the evolution of our product and service offerings based on real-time feedback from prospects and clients.
- Leadership & Culture:
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative sales culture and mentor junior sales team members as required;
- Recruit, coach, and lead a high-energy, results-driven sales team with a performance-first mentality;
- Set bold KPIs and individual quotas and hold the team accountable for delivery.
- Minimum 10-15 years of proven success in sales/business development within the asset management industry.
- Strong understanding of Luxembourg as a key European fund and asset management hub, with a robust network of relevant influencers and decision-makers.
- Well-connected with a strong network of buy-side executives, fund managers, COOs, and CFOs in Luxembourg & Europe.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, commercial creativity, and closing ability.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong business judgment, and a bias for action.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex deal flow and coordinate multi-regional sales efforts.
- Deep knowledge of UCITS, AIFs, and Luxembourg fund structures, along with institutional and wholesale client dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong strategic thinking paired with a hands-on, results-driven mindset.
- Fluency in English is required; additional fluency in French, German, or Luxembourgish is highly valued.
