Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems.
Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training.
Provides support to customers/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.Working at NTTSenior Software defined Datacenter Engineer

Be part and work in synergy with the client's IT teams on their regular activities
Take a technical lead role with strong collaboration with the NTT Client Delivery Manager and the Managed Services Operation team members
Work with multiple projects and on various technical topics at the same time
Improve and perfect your knowledge and expertise in the "Run" phase
Bring expertise to Investigate incidents and issues on our client’s infrastructure
Coordinate Technical team dedicated to BAU activities
Make propositions for infrastructure improvements and follow-up the implementation with the team and the client
Deliver impeccable service as part of NTT Luxembourg

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

Higher degree in IT or Computer Science (or past experience)
At least 5 years’ experience in the field
English is mandatory, French and / or German are an asset
You demonstrate: planning & time management skills, good verbal & written communication, ability to adapt, analyze problems, think innovatively, customer orientation

Knowledge or experience of IT Infrastructure in general, in particular, we appreciate if you have knowledge in the following:

Storage and Datacenter Expertise (DELL Hardware, DataDomain, Unity, vSAN etc...)
VMware ecosystem knowledge (ESX, NSX…)
Backup systems (preferably VEEAM)
Windows Server Management (Active directory management, DNS, DHCP, GPO)
Monitoring tools experience (preferably Zabbix)
Nice to have's: Ansible, Azure technologies, Powershell, BASH Linux
