- Previous strong audit experience within the insurance sector
- CIA / ACA / ACCA or similar professional qualification.
- Fluency in English
- Contribute to implementing the internal audit plan by participating in or leading audits related to underwriting, claims, finance, operations, regulations, and strategy, with a specific emphasis on European operations.
- Provide assistance to the financial controls testing team when necessary.
- Define audit objectives, scopes, and test plans, execute procedures, engage in discussions with senior management regarding observations, and prepare audit reports.
- Offer actionable recommendations aimed at enhancing operations, controls, and overall business management.
- Communicate audit findings, internal control weaknesses, and recommendations, including to senior management.
- Draft clear and concise reports containing audit observations.
- Collaborate with internal audit team members in other office locations for group-wide audits as needed.
- Foster collaborative relationships with business units and operational areas and promote a strong internal control environment within the organization.
- Monitor and follow up on the status of internal audit findings through regular interaction with business stakeholders.
- Participate in data analytics initiatives within the department, collaborating with business leaders to facilitate continuous monitoring.
- Engage with management across various business units and operations.
- Travel to other european office locations.

- Audit experience within an insurance or reinsurance organization, with a preference for candidates with knowledge and experience in finance, regulatory, and risk domains.
- Proficient in leading reviews and guiding team members to ensure timely completion of audits.
- Possesses highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to articulate clear and concise observations and reports.
- Capable of maintaining robust relationships with management.
- Demonstrates a well-developed ability to justify decisions and negotiate appropriate solutions.
- Exhibits critical thinking skills to identify and analyze exposures, detect areas of concern, and devise suitable solutions.
- Demonstrates effective organization and workload management capabilities.
- Shows strong attention to detail and possesses analytical skills.
- Proficient in IT and experienced with TeamMate.
- Holds a professional qualification such as CIA, ACA, ACCA, or similar.
- Displays a strong work ethic and the flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Fluency in additional european languages.
