Research Associate (Postdoc) position on Managing and Designing Digital Identity Wallet Ecosystems

- Carry out research in the field of digital identity wallets, such as:
- Critical evaluations of technical design choices for digital identity wallets, emerging standards (e.g., OIDC4VC/VP) and their compatibility with existing standards
- Economic implications of digital identity wallets and incentives for stakeholders to adopt them
- Legal compliance of digital identity wallet designs with the multi-layered regulatory framework (e.g., eIDAS, GDPR, SDGR)
- Provide guidance to PhD students
- Disseminate results through scientific publications
- Prepare research proposals to attract industry partnerships as well as national and European grant projects
- Manage research projects and prepare project deliverables
- Provide guidance to Master students and PhD students that submit work to conferences or journals
- PhD degree in Information Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems, Technology & Law, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, or transdisciplinary research projects and related research methods (e.g., design science research)
- Experience in publishing high-quality research, as demonstrated by research under review or published in 1st quartile conferences and journals (according to Scopus)
- Experience in research supervision
- A collaborative team player with a desire to make a personal impact within our interdisciplinary research group
- The commitment to participate in the design, implementation, and theoretical elaboration of high-quality solutions that solve significant problems
- Self-initiative, creativity, curiosity, flexibility and enthusiasm to work
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of French, German, and Luxembourgish is not required
