  • Ensure a connection between siloed workstreams or projects and interfaces between the Executive, the leadership team and the broader organization.
  • Ensure the Executive is briefed for meetings and urgent topics.
  • Handle all information and manage stakeholder relationships with the required confidentiality.
  • Build a strong network within the bank, especially within the Executive's departments.
  • Identify conflicts, flag problems for intervention and engage in discussions and brainstorming sessions with the Executive on respective topics, keeping the Executive's immediate and long-term commitments in mind.
  • Proactively, or on the Executive's request, research and prepare materials, briefings or presentations on a variety of topics.
  • Draft and edit various documents including internal / external correspondence by collecting relevant information and securing confidential data to be presented.
  • Schedule, coordinate and participate in meetings, taskforces and workgroups both internally and externally with or on behalf of the Executive, all while ensuring proper follow-up of respective action items, helping the Executive to be effective in the full range of his or her role.
  • Synthesize workshop documentation and ensure that the Executive is fully prepared and briefed for meetings and workshops.
  • Ensure that relevant issues of concern within the organization are brought to the attention of the Executive, or an appropriate member of the Executive team; proactively propose solutions when needed.
  • Train and guide others on the various processes and projects within the team; be able to convince and influence others.
  • Oversee independently and drive complex and critical projects.
  • Take ownership of complex situations prior to escalation to the Executives.
  • Performs ongoing market watch and competitor analysis across relevant industry sectors.
Your skills:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, Finance, Risk, Communication, Human Resources, or an equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in the banking sector, or in a relevant position.
  • Fluency in French and English. Any other language is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of BIL Products & Services, Budgeting & Forecasting, Systems, Monitoring & Reporting, and Project Management.
  • Excellent understanding of Business Situation Analysis, C-Level Communication & Engagement, Business Strategy, and Writing Skills.
  • Outstanding mastery of Coordination, Effective Meeting Facilitation, Stakeholder Relationship Management, Synthesis & Clarity, Confidentiality & Discretion, and Meeting Preparation
  • Good knowledge of Credit Risk and/or Risk Models activities would be a plus
  • Shows tact, maturity, and mediation skills, navigating highly political situations.
  • Strategic mindset, open to opportunities and growth.
  • Effective and structured communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Trustworthy, assertive and outgoing.
  • Solution-oriented with complex problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
